Houston Year One: Built Fast. Here to Stay.

“If we want to be the best, we have to beat the best,” shares Division Manager Adrian Rendón. One year in, Kent Concrete’s Houston team is doing exactly that. What started as a one-man operation has scaled into a team of more than 150. The momentum is real, and it’s not slowing down.

Built on Houston Pride

In Houston, the work means more. Our team is building the same communities they live in, raise families in, and take pride in. That ownership shows up daily in the work. In just one year, the team has taken on projects at scale, including our largest, exceeding 1 million square feet. Some of our other current work includes:

  • 610 Business District – Houston: Four tilt-wall buildings and 40,000 CY of concrete.
  • San Jacinto Marketplace – Baytown: 37,450 CY of concrete for a large retail center.
  • Southport 45 Scarsdale – Houston: Three tilt-wall buildings and 65,700 CY of concrete.

National Safety Standards. Local Execution.

Kent’s top-down safety program keeps crews safe across the country, including Houston. By setting expectations early, this team built a safety culture around doing things the right way, every time. The result is a perfect safety record in Houston - a standard this team is proud to set.

Year One Was Just the Start

In one short year, this team’s impact is being felt across the Houston market. We delivered on our promise, and we’re here to stay. If you’re building in Houston, build with the team setting the pace. Build with Kent.
