Excellence in Concrete Construction

Excellence isn’t just a goal—it’s earned every day through hard work, collaboration, and smart choices. Kent Concrete has earned a 2024 Associated Builders and Contractors Western Michigan Chapter Excellence in Construction Award in the Concrete category for our work on Studio Park Tower. This 17-story multifamily structure was built atop an existing parking garage on a zero-lot line site. Now one of the tallest buildings in Grand Rapids, it stands as a testament to our dedication to excellence and our unwavering love for a challenge.

The project marks the final phase of a long-standing partnership with Olsen-Loeks Development, Pioneer Construction, and Rockford Construction. From retail space, an office building, the parking ramp, and now the crown jewel, Studio Park Tower, we’ve helped redefine the skyline of downtown Grand Rapids.

Building in tight, urban spaces is no easy task, but with 65 years of experience behind us, we know how to adapt and deliver. By introducing the Doka Safety Screen System to West Michigan, we prioritized safety while pushing the boundaries of productivity. Our team’s commitment to innovation, craftsmanship, and safety made this award-winning project possible.
