The Kent Concrete Southeast team is hard at work bringing one of the region’s largest tilt-up projects to life at Scout Motors in Blythewood, South Carolina.
Our scope includes three major buildings — the Accessories Building, Just-in-Time (JIT) Building, and Battery Building — totaling 2,347,398 SF and 491 tilt-up panels. This massive project anchors Scout Motors’ 1,100-acre campus and marks a defining moment for advanced manufacturing in the Southeast.
Scale That Delivers
Our team continues to keep pace with Scout Motors’ aggressive schedule while upholding Kent’s Four Hallmarks: Safety, Productivity, Quality, and Customer Service.
Scout Motors isn’t the only large-scale project we’ve got in motion. Across the Southeast, we're proving what capacity really looks like — delivering major projects in multiple states without slowing down.
Current work includes:
- Ross Distribution Center DC9 – Randleman, North Carolina
- 1.7 million SF of tilt-up construction
- Interstate Centre II Building D – Ellabell, Georgia
- 1,130,530 SF with 187 tilt-up panels
- I-16 Port Logistics – Bloomingdale, Georgia
- 260,552 SF of vertical cast-in-place concrete
- 489,950 SF of paving
- 34,412 CY of concrete
“We’re still fighting the perception that we’re a small contractor in the Southeast,” says Preconstruction Manager Chris Wood. “The reality is, our team and capacity are doubling year over year. We have the manpower, are investing in the right systems, and the support of a national company behind us. It all shows in the size and consistency of the work we’re delivering.”
Built for What’s Next
From multi-million-square-foot campuses to regional manufacturing hubs, Kent Concrete continues to shape the Southeast with the same pride and precision that define who we are. Wood adds, “Our people make the hard work look easy — and they prove, day after day, that we’re built for projects of this magnitude.”
Big projects. Bigger results. That’s what we’re building right now.
